UP COMING EVENTS

Date: Tuesday 10th February 2026

Time: 12pm - 1:30pm

Where: The Illawarra Hotel

After listening to the women in our YPN community, we realised there was an opportunity to create something just for you. We know there are unique challenges that women - particularly young women - can face in the workplace, from confidence and visibility to advocacy, growth, and finding supportive peer networks.

We’d love to bring everyone together for a relaxed, casual lunch to connect, share experiences, and see whether there’s interest in making this a regular space.

If you’re a young woman in the YPN aged 35 and under, please register your interest via the link so we can anticipate numbers.

And to our male counterparts - don’t worry, this is just one part of the YPN calendar. Our first all-in YPN get-together is coming up in March, we can’t wait to share more details!

Date: Thursday 19th March 2026

Time: 7:30am - 9:00am

Where: TO BE CONFIRMED

In your career, how you show up matters. For our first event of 2026, we want to set Young Professionals up with the confidence and presence to show up at your best - whether that's in a high-stakes conversation, presenting in a boardroom, or walking into a networking event with self-belief.

Join us for an inspiring and practical conversation with Bruce Roberts, respected WIN News presenter, journalist and professional MC, as he shares the real story behind building a career in the spotlight—from standing out in a competitive industry to maintaining credibility and trust under pressure.

Bruce has anchored more than 22,000 primetime news bulletins across NSW, ACT, Tasmania and Victoria and brings a rare mix of experience spanning journalism, professional speaking, workplace training and acting (did you know he started his adult career on Home & Away?).

At this event, Bruce will share real insights into how he stays calm, confident and credible when it counts, and how those same skills translate far beyond the newsroom. You’ll hear practical tips on shaping a strong personal brand, communicating with clarity, and developing the kind of presence that earns trust in meetings, presentations and everyday professional moments.

This event is for young professionals who believe in backing themselves, standing out for the right reasons, and building confidence in the moments that matter most in their career.
